Freshman From the Department of Geoscience wins Ulssa 2018 Marathon

ULSSA 2018 MARATHON REPORT

To those who thought they had gotten enough from the indoor games that held less than 24 hours ago, the Faculty sport secretary Mr Arnold Effor gave them another reason to hold on to their breath.

The ULSSA marathon kicked off this morning at exactly 8am having just 23 contestants in participation.
We also had officials positioned at strategic points around the route to be covered by these athletes. The distance covered by these athletes was nothing short of the faculty as their start point, making a complete turn around the school campus and they had to do this twice in order to emerge champion.

Of these 23, few couldn't complete the first lap and some finished both laps but the competition only cared about the winner and its runner-up.

We were all amazed as we had a female participant in the name of Aloba Oyinlola of the department of Botany, the 200 level student was the only registered female participant in this marathon exercise and not only did she finish both laps, she also did so in grand style, surpassing most of her male counterparts.

Oywateru Oluwaseun, a 100 level student of the department of Geosciences finished the marathon in first place with Ayobami Emmanuel, a 200 level student of the department of Chemistry science coming as the runner-up.

UNILAG Gets Nod To Host 26th NUGA Games

There are strong indications that University of Lagos (UNILAG) may have gotten the nod to stage the 26th edition of the Nigeria University Games (NUGA) in 2019.

We learnt on Thursday that UNILAG beat University of Jos (UNIJOS) to the hosting of the games.
The naming of the host  will formally be made known by the management of NUGA in the coming days.
The hosting right was awarded to UNILAG after the submission of the NUGA Facilities Inspection Team,
which visited UNILAG on April after inspecting facilities at UNIJOS.
Reports have it that the inspection team was impressed with UNILAG’s  facilities coupled with
the leverage the tournament would get if staged in Lagos.
The idea of the bidding by UNILAG was spearheaded by the former Vice Chancellor of UNILAG, Rahaman
Bello, who said it was aimed as part of the institution’s strategy to strengthen its sports centre and
make more impact in sports.
“As a university, we put resources proportionally in all facets. We have so many issues to contend with; we have not put sports aside. Although we did not win the last NUGA games, we were not far below in ranking. We were in the fourth position. That we did not win in the NUGA games does not mean we have not been winning laurels. We won the basketball and two or four major events,”
Bello told journalist before his exit early this year.
And under the leadership of the new VC, Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, efforts have been made to upgrade sports
facilities within the school. Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi hosted the last edition of the games which was won by the  University of Port Harcourt with 150 medals. Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, emerged second, while Benson Idahosa University came third. UNILAG secured the fourth position with 20 medals made up of nine gold, four silver and seven bronze medals.

Science Super league :Match Week One updates

It was a memorable round of matches in the week one of the Science Super league Second Edition as Most of the teams showed they are all out to fight for the Crown

First Match of the League had CSC and CHM take on each other in a one sided Affair . Both teams tested each other from the other ends in the first half as it ended in a stalemate but few minutes after the second half, CHM midfielder and last season award winner for goal of the season, WARNER,  opened the goal curtain after he found his way past a loose defence. With few minutes to go, RODNEY sealed the win with a strong header into the net after a WARNER pin point Cross from the corner side.
Second fixture had the Elites cup 2.0 defending champions MSM lock horns with Intimidation cup winner MAT with both sides sharing the spoils in the first half after an early opener from MSM power house SNAZZ, and the latter squared things up in the dying seconds with an equaliser from MAYOWA. MAT got their winner through team captain BILAL from a loose MSM defence to seal their win.
The preceding fixture had league underdogs BCH battle it out with MIC. With the former surprisingly taking all possession in the first period. Barely had the second half started before MIC LARRY found the back of the net after a curly corner kick. the score line remained like that for the rest of the match.

ZLY Vs BCH
ZLY continue to impress in their quest to retain the league as they showed class in their 1-0 win against BCH . Arnold got the only goal of the game after curling in a corner kick although he was left to rue some missed chances from one on one occasions. In the end, he got his team the win.

PHS Vs GEO
In the final match of the ssl3 fixture1, PHS hosted GEO in what was totally a one sided affair. PHS Lateef was on fire as he bagged a brace in the match. From start to finish, GEO played their match in wonderland as PHS assumed all of the ball possession. PHS Lateef however got booked for a red card after two yellow cards, the second booking came as a result of him pulling off his shirt and kicking the ball out of play.

The league waits for no one, Join the conversation, follow on IG @ssl_unilag and @unilag_sportsrepublic as we go into another week of exciting matches....

EL SCIENTIFICO : Biological Science edge out Physical Science in The Traditional kick off match for the Science Super league...

EL SCIENTIFICO

Football as they say is really  a game of passion and flair, this was evident in the Traditional kick off match for the Science Super league II as all players were putting on a smile, Happy to get back to the football field and putting aside the fact that they will face off against each other soon when the league starts proper.

As all teams intensify their preparations towards the league, players had a last and rare chance to play alongside players from other teams as all 11 teams were split into two to play a Novelty match which signifies the beginning of the league, All teams Split into Team Physical Sciences and Team Biological Sciences faced off in the EL SCIENTIFICO.

The Physical Sciences Team had the luxury of picking a line up from 22 all Star players while Biological Sciences on the other hand could only get to pick from 14 players available. The match kicked off a little late as a result of logistics issues but when it eventually started, it was nothing short of what the fans expected with Biological Sciences setting the pace and dictating the game with some slick passes. It didn't go unrewarded though as the Biological Science Team got a goal through Garrett from a Dayo Set piece. The team continued with the momentum in which they got the first goal and just as it seemed like the first half was gonna end with just a goal, another goal was scored by a weak snazz shot after it couldn't be dealt with by the Physical Sciences Team, 2-0 and that signalled the end of the First half.

The Second half started in a different manner from the first as the Physical Sciences Team substituted all players that took part in the first half and this made the game more balanced as they came close to pulling one back a couple of times but the Biological Sciences defence consisting of only MSM players were on top form for the duration of the game there by sending a message ahead of the League proper. 2 nil in favour of the Biological Science Team and if there is anything to go by in this encounter, it is that we are in for an explosive Super League... Press Release : Wiinning Eleven Africa 2017

WIINNING ELEVEN AFRICA PROJECT 2017 PRESS RELEASE

RE: W.E.A.P 2017 ‘Bounce-back’ Event for Sickle Cell Carriers All Over Nigeria and Africa by Extension
Sickle Cell Disorder is undoubtedly a sad menace to a family. It has belched so much in the lives of many African descendants. Nigeria is one of the highest ranking countries with Sickle Cell Disorder (SCD), with over 150,000 babies born yearly with the disorder and 25% of adults’ population living with this dreadful sickle cell trait (:https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/07/oral-powder-reduces-sickle-cell-disease-crises/). Statistics have shown that Nigeria bears the highest burden of sickle cell anemia in the world; three out every 100 new born children are affected by the disorder in the country (www.streetjournal.com). Sickle cell disorder in simple terms is a genetic disorder due to presence of abnormal haemoglobin in the red blood cells, called haemoglobin S instead of haemoglobin A. An individual either has haemoglobin A known as the AA genotype, a combination of A and S haemoglobin known as the AS genotype (common with one out of every ten Nigerians), or the haemoglobin S only, known as SS genotype; these are the sickle cell carriers. “Sickle cell disorder is simply a disease of the blood....not the color of your skin” (June 19th world sickle cell awareness.org) it has abounded in Africa for a long time and it was once considered a death sentence until recent medical advancements. Presently, there is no cure to the Sickle cell disorder but there exists a cost effective treatment for the pain and other manifestations of the disorder. The most important aspect of Sickle cell treatment is early medication interventions with pain relievers (analgesics), antibiotics, good nutrition, folic acid supplementation and high fluid intake. In extreme cases, blood transfusion and surgery may be needed as invasive procedures.
A team of pragmatic youth called The Prodigy Group has come to make this history and re-write the story of our Nation; proving that rays of light can emanate from our dark continent. As a team, we have put together a life impacting event that would give hope to the warriors while remembering those that have fallen in their battle for survival. This event is projected to ultimately put an end to the spread of this menace. Although many attempts by concerned individuals and even organized bodies have been made to fight this disorder, yet more works must be done to put a STOP to this spread. No one wishes for this timely killer, but when it surfaces, it is encouraged to face and fight it. We believe it is time to awaken the exceptional abilities of youth nationwide with respect to these Sickle Cell carriers, to excel in the midst of their life storms, by an exploit of their potentials and a true empowerment to the advancement of their entrepreneurship practices. For these reasons and more, The Prodigy Group purposefully write to introduce; WIINNING ELEVEN AFRICA PROJECT (W.E.A.P). This project is envisioned as a stage set for contacting young people, particularly focused at youths who are warriors, those faced with this challenge. W.E.A.P. is a brain child of The Prodigy Group, birthed from an enthusiasm to annihilate SCD and engaging youthful warriors to Bounce-back.

The vision of the W.E.A.P is incidental to the visions and missions of the various health organizations whose aim is to fight the notion of health disorders such as W.H.O (African region), Global Health Initiative and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. W.E.A.P is an event that is channeled to benefit people living with Sickle Cell Disorder (SCD), aimed to reaching and meeting with their needs. It is dedicated to spreading awareness and educating the general public about the disorder and at the same time changing people's orientation about those affected and the disorder itself. The event is planned to be a mega-packed entertaining, empowering for entrepreneurship, and a life changing one that would positively and greatly affect lives in general, with special preference given to the sickle cell carriers amongst. This event represents a huge opportunity for various organizations to network and further reach-out in extending a more laudable Sickle-Cell campaign. The premier edition occurred in September 2016, with a football tournament where several universities were involved as a way of creating awareness about SCD, it was an engaging and all encompassing event involving both the young and the old, as many from all works of life including celebrities, the sickle cell organization of Nigeria and other organizations (governmental and non-governmental) joined in the bounce back fight.  This W.E.A.P 2017 event is the second edition, planned to attract students from five higher institutions in Nigeria, two from Benin Republic and one from Ghana. This shall make an involvement of eight higher institutions all over Africa. Top elite entertainers, entrepreneurs as well as high profile speakers, including press and people from the private and government sector throughout Africa shall be also involved for this vital African initiative. It is set to be bigger and better which is centered on: Raising and courageously springing up the entrepreneurship practice in and amongst Sickle Cell carriers. The main message shall be propagated through a football tournament which is why it is tagged, ‘WIINNING ELEVEN’.

Bounce-back is the theme for this year. Bounce-Back is conceptualized towards raising and courageously springing up the entrepreneurship practice in the youth participants (www.africa.wiinningeleven.org). In accordance with the Nigeria global health initiative; the mission statement of W.E.A.P. affirms a call;
Dedicated towards spreading awareness and educating the general public about the Sickle Cell disorder. By eradicate people's orientation that brings about discrimination on the affected Sickle Cell carriers.
To develop and sustain in this Sickle Cell carriers, the good and positive mindset about the nation’s hopes and dreams.
To support all youth (especially the affected carriers) in learning and practicing skills for a sustainable financial means of income throughout their lives. This supports and enhances educational goals on these carriers, making them sustainable and productive.

This above mission shall be fulfilled by developing and working-out effective services, strategic selection and acquisition of resources, providing physical and intellectual access to appropriate sources of information, and working with dedicated and experienced team of volunteers.

The program is slated to hold from October with laid-down activities like press conference, road-walk awareness, media tour, courtesy visits to related foundations, secondary school campaign, campus tour, entrepreneurship seminar, free genotype testing, drug donations to related foundations, and the main football tournament event which is a three day program to be held at Yaba College of Technology Sports center, slated for 25th, 26th and 28th (the grand finale day) of October 2017. W.E.A.P event shall represent a huge opportunity for various brands/company to express her organization values on excellent platforms, increase brand's awareness in and out of the school community, as well as to access a powerful, targeted audience. The event attracts students (graduates and undergraduates), entertainers, entrepreneurs, high profile speakers, professionals, top business moguls, and participants from private sector, Government, and other institutions throughout Africa. It is anticipated that by a fruition of W.E.A.P, there will be result in the:
Reaching out to impact the lives of over 60% of affected Sickle Cell Carriers.
Carriers being positive in spirit and willpower as resulted from empowerment and sustainability.
Exploitation of potentials, leading to their increased efficiency and productivity.
Measurable progress towards behavioral goals set forth through the event.
Present singles of our time, to more cautiously be aware of the risk of the wrong genotype combination of their spouse before marriage, so as to eradicate future SCDs.
Other captivators would include; Free access to experience life changing and motivational speeches by our selected guest, Youth participants take an advantage of networking and finding mentors, Free technical supports and counseling guidance to entrepreneurship success, as well as Freebies and other added advantages which are enjoyed by all participants.
The Prodigy Group is on a verge of eradicating this dreadful menace to go into extinction. By a successful accomplishment of all the projected plans through W.E.AP event, Sickle Cell Disorder would be sure to have a much little or no record of existence in the next breed of generation. As assuring as this sound, The Prodigy Group has strategically teamed-up to see to this success. Hence, many brand organizations ranging from top notch media houses, to the professionalized sport service firms, to the capable sports logistics groups of various organizations, to the Advertising and PR firms on sporting matters and many notable elites in the business and for the lovers of sports, personalities and selective individuals and entertainers in the music and dance industries shall be very present and supportive, whereby others shall be partnering with The Prodigy Group to bring this planned event to a great fruition. We believe in this dream and we seek for more involvement in this event of a lifetime. Lets all anticipate this event with all openness and positivity as we are called to join hands in supports and encourage this proud Africa initiative. Thank you.

For more information, enquires or partnership on this forth coming W.E.A.P event, kindly contact The Prodigy Group on: 08174980869 or 08062366183 or you can drop your comments at Winningelevenofficial@gmail.com and we will attend to it.

No One Does it better, Total Shut down as the Faculty of Business Administration Sports Festival came to a climax

It was a Great sight to behold and a memory to Hold on to as the Corporate Men and women took to the field of play to show their prowess on the Grand Finale of the 2017 Msa Sports Festival.

It has been a whole long week of entertaining fixtures in the Football Tournament and so it deserved to have a befitting Grand Finale.

Wednesday, 26th of July, 2017 wouldn't leave our minds so easily as the day was filled with crazy fun in the Sporting world for the Faculty of Business Administration.
The Day Started with the Final of the Female Football with the beautiful ladies of Business Administration Department going up against Finance department, the match kicked off a little late but that didn't limit the fun and cheers from the fans when the match eventually started... As expected, Favorites Business Administration went one up very early in the first half as Superstar Bola Odionye dribbled one before rightly slotting it into the goal post with only the keeper to beat... That didn't last for long tho as Finance department powerhouse Kemi pulled one back out of nowhere late into the first half to send the crowd wild and crazy... The Second half didn't live up to the first tho as it was one sided as well as frustrating for the bus Admin ladies as all efforts to score proved abortive.... Referee of the Day Coach White signalled the end of the match which sent the match straight into Penalties... It was to be a tough shootout tho with both keepers being two of the best shot stoppers in the Faculty... It ended 3-2 in favor of the Business Administration Ladies, Congratulations to them on getting to the Final for the Second year running and winning it for the first time in a long while.

All attention moved back to the Main bowl as the two Male teams in the Final were lined up to start.... The Crowd went crazy in welcoming the players to the field, after which Superstar Hypeman Big Bimi led the crowd in paying homage to the homeland by reciting the National Anthem. Current Msa President in the person of Comrade Innocent Ogbonna Signalled the beginning of the match with the Honorary First kick....

The Match, which was  between Insurance Department and defending Champions Accounting department started on a quiet note with both teams careful enough not to make errors, the insurance team showing the hunger for Victory though, playing with all tenacity and pass accuracy, it all payed off soon as talisman known as Papi scored a quick one against the run of play, his goal was not to be compared to the jubilation that followed though, as he ran all the way to the stands to share a kiss with his lovely girlfriend who has been cheering all along๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜. @Ans that signalled the end of the first Half

The second half brought about some changes from both sides as they both sought to change the look of the game, Insurance Department showed composure all thorough to keep out the skillful accounting side from playing the beautiful football they are known for.
Another breakthrough came late in the second half when accounting, having searched for a equalizer all through, were caught off guard and this left Insurance no 10 Loki with a quick counter attack leaving him one on one with the keeper which he rightly slotted in to bury the game and Give Insurance Department the Game and The Crown as the Kings if Male Football Category in the Faculty of Business Administration. His jubilation was cut short tho as he was given a second yellow card for pulling off his shirt which attracted a red card, the Crowd wouldn't mind though as he was also cheered along to the stands, where he also had his girlfriend waiting and shared a lovely kiss also. It wasn't too long before the Referee signalled the end of the match sparking rampant jubilations

Track Events followed as Various representatives from the 6 departments battled it out in the 100, 200, 400 and 4 by 100 metre Races.
Presentation of Medals Followed by the Sports Secretary, Faculty President and Various Dignitaries present.

Faculty of Sciences shut down Sports Center with the Final of the 2017 Ulssa Sports Festival.....

*SCIENCE SPORTS FESTIVAL REPORT*

*365 days is the number of counts in a year, 7 makes a week, but only 2 teams made it to the deans cup football finals and just 1 was crowned champion.*
*Flashback to the Kick off of the sports festival, from the marathon race to the masks festivals,  to the several jersey outfits before the main events took place.*
*Sports included Basketball, volleyball and football. Other sports included board games; ludo, chess, and scrabble, not forgetting track events as well.* *It was assumed by many that nature approved the festival of games as a week before the start of this event, there was a heavy, very heavy downpour of rain accompanied by unclear cloud but it was the complete opposite when the deans games started and the participants and organisers were glad.*
*The event took place for a length of six days as teams battled it out against each other in the various sports with only finalists considered the real competitors.*
*Most fans priorities was on the football finals,so will this write-up.*
*Team GEO SCIENCES and MARINE SCIENCES were the titans who made it to the finals with COMPUTER SCIENCES and CHEMISTRY battling for third place. The latter however showed superiority by edging out on penalty Kicks after a 0-0 draw in what I describe to be a hornlock. This started and finished with less debates on the match outcome by the scanty spectators.*
*Few minutes passed on the clock,  and the footsteps of those we heard next were those of fans in a black jersey with a shade of orange on its arms.* *These are GEO SCIENCES football team fans. They were everywhere, even the cloud looked to have changed it's colour to that of these supporters. The stadium looked set, with a disc jockey in hand to put people out of boredom accompanied by the ever-eloquent Faculty of sciences welfare Secretary HAMMED OLAWALE CATALYST in hand to MC the event. Few moments later, other fans on blue attires started filing the podium in scanty numbers giving impression of who really craved success for their team.*
*Both teams matched on to the pitch from an aisle accompanied by deafening chants from respective fans. This was it, only one team will walk away with the champions cup and gold medal while the other just bite her nails in regret and settle for silver.*

*First half started and the noise from the stands were not looking to subside. The referee had assistant referees  usually referred to as linemen on opposite ends of the pitch to help him in some decision making. It was GEO who played the ball around from the midfield as they took their calm and wanted to impress their fans in the same vein. MSM tried as much as possible not to get all their men out to do the marking as they sat back and watched GEO possess them for few minutes. GEO soon brought on their first real threat by exploring MSM right back, playing their way through the left wing and making fine passes, without wasting time, an accurate kick was shot towards MSM goalkeeper which went straight to the right goal post but MSM left back,  BELLO was in hand to clear off to safety and there was an emotional reaction from GEO fans. GEO continued to press on while MSM was still trying to find their balance. GEO continued to mount pressure on MSM from both sides of the pitch putting MSM on the back foot, keeping their outnumbered fans mute while GEO fans yelled the slogan "GINGER" from afar. This however contributed in building more confidence for GEO players in the process. GEO once again directed the wind to MSM left back as they had 2 to 3 players exploit the left full back as little or no threat was displayed from the middle. It was not as if MSM are weaklings but odds have even gone against them before the start of the match and maybe they let this get to them. Their manager will surely be disappointed in this performance compared to their ship-wrecking display in their semi final match  against CHM which got them to this stage of the competition.*
*GEO goalie PEDRO was soon tested as MSM SNAZZ made a promising run down the left for a through ball but PEDRO was quickest to react as he rushed out to save the ball, although this took him about 2 touches. MSM later coordinated themselves and also tried their attack from the wings too but much of the ball thrown at USMAN was either given a heavy touch or he was subdued by GEO left full back REBEL, (an outstanding performer since the start of the competition),his size compared to USMAN 's small physique was another contributing factor. REBEL stamped his authority again as done in previous matches as he dribbled his way to the midfield before laying a pass. A form of confidence only few defenders can boast of. The first half ended with little threats from both sides as well as little casualties.*
*Second half beckoned, the concluding part of the game that will probably be a faith-decider for either team. Players from both teams had enough time to rest and do team talks and it was left for both teams to give results. The game resumed with a tempo almost ten times that of the first half. GEO looked a bit more defensive while MSM brought their game upfront but their forward line was no match for GEO dogged defence line. Once an attack wad initiated by MSM,engineered by arguably MSM best player on the pitch FEMI, who commanded the whole midfield with authority, even recovering every lost ball to the opponent, his height and long legs a factor though. FEMI soon looked to be fading as it was like all his hardwork was just to favour his opponents. It was GEO who made the first tactical substitution. It soon paid off as GEO right winger, failed in several attempts in explorng MSM left back BELLO from the right who put up a 5 star performance compared to his first half indecisiveness on the ball. Tragedy struck when BELLO made a zero-contact tackle on GEO forward JOSH, and the referee blew for a free kick in a dangerous position on the right wing. The referee however got a boo from MSM fans for his controversial decision for giving the free kick. GEO winger IBK takes his kick well into MSM box and a poor handling from MSM goalie ODOLA, gifts GEO DA BEST his goal as he positions himself well and heads the ball into the net. GEO 1-0 MSM. MSM players looked disappointed in their goalkeeper as he made a worse error compared to this in their semi final tie against CBG which almost cost them the competition and now a second consecutive mediocrity from him. Few minutes later, the same goal culprit took a very low pass from goal kick which got to the mercy of GEO forward but his slow reaction gave ODOLA the chance to correct his mistake by racing out to kick the ball to safety. Not forgetting GEO goalkeeper, PEDRO, who in contrary to his opposition made up for his defender's errors.* *GEO supporters soon stepped down the podium to chant victory songs from the touchline. On seeing this, MSM knew time was surely against them as they all came out in full force to attack and put pressure on their opponent. This soon backfired as GEO turned defence into attack, with MSM centre backs just returning from GEO box, the ball was projected to GEO MAESTRO as he raced his way down the left wing, beating MSM right full back, with an empty backline, MSM goalie rushes out to play his part of defence but also failed in his attempt leaving the GEO winger open to an empty goal net, this was when the unimaginable happened; MSM left full back BELLO who has been racing back home from the beginning of the counter attack, with blistering speed, cleared the goal-bound effort by the GEO winger to safety. Applaud and mouth widening emotion followed from a higher percentage of the spectators. MSM recovered and continued with attack, this time forcing their opponents to commit fouls in dangerous positions near the box. With few minutes on the clock, the referee gave a free kick call in front of GEO box against MSM but with a strategy of running down the clock, GEO defender delayed the Kick and as the  referee blew his whistle for him to  take the Kick, the defender picked up  the ball  with his hands to reposition it,so the referee reversed his decision to give MSM the free-kick instead in a dangerous area near GEO box.GEO players were unhappy with the decision and some of their fans and coaching crew made violent gestures as well as invading the football pitch. The referee took his time by walking down to the violators to put things in order, another time wasting strategy by GEO maybe. The referee then came back, blew the whistle for MSM kick but the chance was wasted by the midfielders as they lost concentration and didn't know what they were to do on the ball.* *The wasted ball  hit a deflection and found the presence of just-introduced substitute GARRETT who places the ball in the left hand corner of the net but the linesman calls for offside and there was another roar from the MSM fans. Fight broke in about 2 minutes later between GEO defender REBEL and MSM right back INNOCENT as to whom a throwing call was directed to. There was pushing from both players, this went on and it turned to a public affair as fans from both teams stormed the pitch again to take sides. The referee once again got to the scene and calmed things down once more. The ball was delayed to throwing several times in the dying seconds and soon enough, came a sound that broke MSM heart but brought joy to GEO ; it was the referees whistle for end of the game. GEO supporters stormed the pitch and celebrated with their players joyfully, lifting their goalkeeper up in the air and chorus the word  "PEDRO SAVES" and there was no doubt about this as he did well to keep a cleansheet in the tournament while MSM players walked off the pitch broken.*
*This marked the end of the road for MSM in pursue of a dean's cup glory in 4 years and a beginning of the same for GEO.*
*The Dean of sciences was in hand to present gold, silver and bronze medals to GEO, MSM and CHM respectively.*
*Individual performances awards for the title "MOST PROMISING PLAYER" were also given to the following players;  LALA{CHM }(gold) , PEDRO {GEO }(silver), BELLO{MSM }( bronze ).*

*Whether you are a player, a fan or a critique, one thing is  for sure; nothing or no one will have more influence on the outcome of the game except the willingness and efforts put in  towards winning. It's the science sports festival 2017, I really do hope you have been SPORTIFIED.*
